This position functions as the Human Resources Regional Manager; having overall responsibility for planning and directing the region’s Human Resources services. The manager will be responsible for supervising the Central Office ,Field Operations Administration, Thumb Correctional Facility, and the Ionia Area Correctional Facilities.  Human Resources Offices as well as the Health Care Hiring Unit. The Regional Manager reports directly to the Human Resources Director, but is expected to ensure communication and cooperation is maintained with Central Office and FOA Administrators. This position will also be responsible for all statewide classification and selection activities within the Department of Corrections.
